I saw your comment on WATF and I just wanted to encourage you! There is no possible way that anyone can teach all that your children need to know. I remind myself constantly that I just need to teach my children how to learn and to love learning. Blessings on your adventure!

Wow! You have a lot on your plate. I wasn't brave enough to home school but I do think that it is the way to go. My oldest is a senior in high school so I can tell you it goes quick. I did flash cards with Anna every day and her brother that was 4 years younger was so far advanced because he heard it every day.

I am sick, but was planning on making my 2 volunteer. My daughter has been going with her Chorus group and singing at Nursing homes....i need to push my son in a volunteer direction.

I love your style! I hoped to be more laid, back...i have in some ways. I let my 13yr old decorate, the mantel, coffee table, kitchen and i didn't correct anything she did. We did the tree together....

They want to make more cookies and fudge to give to their friends..so i am getting out my Christmas tins
and going thru our recipes to decide what they want. I also
have an order from my son, he is going to Alaska the day after Christmas and wants to take cookies to his friends. They gave him a ticket for a gift, to come see them....He is 21, but still...I will be nervous!

I applaud your calm, cool method this year....
